Privacy Policy

Last updated October 5, 2026.

What this policy covers

This policy explains how information is handled when you use anythingpawsable.com, its reader tools or its article finder, or contact the AP team.

Anything Pawsable is operated by EBC Partners LLC. This policy does not cover Service Dog Standards or United States Service Dog Registry (USSDR) accounts, registration, purchases or other services. Read the policies that apply to those services when you visit them.

Information you send us

If you email a question, correction, submission, photograph or other material, we receive what you choose to send. That may include your name, email address, message and attachments. Email providers also process information needed to deliver and store the message.

We use this information to respond, review corrections and submissions, arrange editorial work and maintain appropriate records. Private correspondence is not automatically intended for publication. Material agreed for publication, including contributor credits and approved photographs or biographies, may be publicly available with the article.

Please do not send medical records or unnecessary disability information. Do not share someone else’s private information without appropriate permission.

Browsing and website delivery

AP’s hosting and security services process technical information needed to deliver pages, maintain reliability and protect against abuse. This may include your IP address, requested page address, browser or device information and request time.

Cloudflare provides hosting and security for the website. Its handling of visitor information is described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Provider retention of technical information depends on the services and logging settings in use.

Search and the article finder

Ordinary site search filters AP’s article index in your browser. Search terms may appear in the page address and may be included in routine request information when you open or share a search link.

When you submit a question to the article finder, the question is sent to AP’s website service to match it with public AP articles. The rebuilt article finder does not send questions to an AI model or another AI service.

The application does not create a stored conversation history or intentionally write question text to a database or application log. It uses network information temporarily to limit abusive requests. Hosting and security providers may handle request information through their own systems and configured logs; this is separate from an AP conversation history.

Do not enter names, contact details, medical records or other sensitive information into search or the article finder. A feature that does not intentionally save a conversation should not be treated as a confidential channel.

Training logs, puppy logs and saved names

The training log, puppy potty log and name shortlist store saved entries in your browser on your device. Their code does not send those entries to AP. Downloaded log files are generated on your device.

People who use the same browser or device may be able to see saved entries. Use each tool’s clear function or your browser’s site-storage controls to remove them. Clearing browser storage may remove your saved entries; AP cannot restore them. Copies you download remain on your device until you delete them.

Cookies, advertising and analytics

This version of the website does not load Google Analytics or advertising trackers.

Hosting and security services may use necessary cookies or similar technologies to deliver and protect the website, depending on the services enabled. Reader tools use browser storage as described above. You can manage cookies and site storage in your browser settings.

If AP introduces analytics, advertising or another feature that changes information handling, we will update this policy before that feature is enabled and provide the disclosures and choices required for the services and applicable law.

Who may receive information

Relevant AP staff, contractors and providers may receive the information needed to respond to a request, carry out agreed editorial work, host the website, maintain records or protect security.

Information may be shared within the operating organization when needed to handle a request. Contacting AP does not automatically create a public SDS or USSDR profile or enrollment in those services.

We do not sell or rent editorial correspondence or submissions. AP may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to respond to abuse, protect safety or protect legal rights.

External links and services

Links to videos, organizations, products, SDS, USSDR and other resources take you to services with their own privacy practices. Those services may collect information when you use them. AP’s policy does not replace theirs.

Retention and security

We keep correspondence and submission records only as long as reasonably needed for the request, editorial work, legitimate recordkeeping, disputes or legal obligations. Published articles and contributor credits may remain in the publication archive.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No website, device or email system can guarantee absolute security. This policy does not promise that AP can delete information from every provider system immediately or prevent every unauthorized disclosure.

Your choices and requests

You can ask about information you provided, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern through the Contact Us page. Rights, deadlines and exceptions depend on applicable law. AP may need proportionate information to verify and respond to a request; published editorial records or legally required records may need to be retained.

For saved reader-tool entries, use the tools or browser controls described above. AP does not receive those locally saved entries and cannot remove them from your device for you.

If you believe a child has sent personal information that should not have been collected or published, contact AP so the situation can be reviewed. Do not send additional unnecessary personal information about the child.

Contact and updates

Use the Contact Us page for privacy requests. Email editor@anythingpawsable.com. Include “Anything Pawsable privacy” and enough information to identify the request without sending unnecessary sensitive details.

AP will update this policy when practices change, revise the date above and provide additional notice where required by law.
