Terms of Use
Last updated October 5, 2026.
About these terms
Anything Pawsable provides articles and practical resources about service dogs, working dogs and life with a dog. These terms apply to anythingpawsable.com and its reader tools.
Anything Pawsable is operated by EBC Partners LLC, referred to here as “AP,” “we” or “us.”
By using this website, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
Education and individual decisions
AP’s articles, worksheets and article finder provide general education. They do not establish a professional relationship or replace advice about your individual circumstances from an appropriate trainer, veterinarian, healthcare professional or lawyer.
Consider your own needs, your dog’s welfare and the conditions in which you will use a suggestion. An exercise may need to be adapted or may not be suitable for your team. Training outcomes vary; AP does not guarantee a dog’s suitability, readiness or performance.
Original publication dates and author credits are preserved where appropriate. An older story, announcement or personal account may describe circumstances that have changed. A personal experience is the author’s account; it does not establish that the same outcome will occur for another team. Check current authoritative guidance for consequential legal, medical, housing or travel decisions.
Service Dog Standards and USSDR
AP introduces readers to Service Dog Standards and the United States Service Dog Registry. SDS provides voluntary training and behavior standards and education for the human handler as well as the dog. USSDR is powered by SDS.
This voluntary framework works alongside the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Participation, registration, educational materials or identifying items do not create legal access rights or certify a dog’s readiness. SDS’s detailed training standards and educational commitments are distinct from the requirements of applicable law.
These AP terms do not govern SDS or USSDR accounts, registration, purchases, directories or other services. Their respective terms and privacy policies apply when you use those services.
Reader tools and the article finder
The article finder matches questions to AP articles. In this version of the rebuilt site, it does not generate responses through an AI service. Results help you locate relevant reading; they are not individualized advice or an exhaustive answer.
Do not enter names, contact details, medical records or other sensitive personal information into the article finder. Its information handling is explained in the Privacy Policy.
The training log, puppy potty log and name shortlist save entries in your browser when you use their save features. These tools do not provide an AP account or a cloud backup. Shared-device users may be able to access saved entries. Download a copy if you need one; clearing browser storage may remove saved entries.
Using and sharing AP materials
AP content, photographs, artwork, logos and other materials belong to AP, their authors or other rights holders. Reading the website does not transfer ownership of those materials.
You may share links to individual AP articles. You may download, print and use AP’s free worksheets and logs for your own use or to support your work with clients, unless a particular resource states different terms. Keep the AP credit and any source or copyright notices intact.
These permissions do not authorize selling AP materials, republishing an article or photograph in full, removing credits, implying AP’s endorsement, or creating a competing collection of AP content. Ask for written permission for uses outside the permissions above. Nothing in these terms limits a use that applicable law permits without permission.
Ordinary search-engine indexing and retrieval for AI-assisted search are permitted subject to the website’s published crawler instructions. Automated use must not bypass access controls, overload the website, obtain private information or reproduce AP content in violation of applicable rights.
Messages, stories and photographs
Only send material that you have the right to share. Obtain any permissions needed for photographs, quotations and information about other people, including children. Avoid unnecessary private disability or medical information.
Sending AP an email or a proposal does not transfer ownership of your work or automatically make private correspondence public. Publication permission, credit, editing and any compensation should be agreed separately. Do not assume that an old contributor announcement establishes current payment terms.
Responsible use
Use the website lawfully and respectfully. Do not harass people, impersonate another person or organization, submit malicious software, infringe others’ rights, attempt unauthorized access or interfere with the website’s operation.
Do not use AP materials to misrepresent a pet or another animal as a service dog. You remain responsible for your conduct and your dog’s care, training and behavior.
We may restrict abusive use or remove material when reasonably necessary to protect the website, readers or others, subject to applicable law.
External links
AP links to other organizations, products, videos and services. Those providers control their own content, terms, privacy practices and availability. A link does not by itself establish an endorsement or a guarantee. Transactions and arrangements with an external provider are between you and that provider.
Availability, warranties and responsibility
We aim to provide useful, accurate information, but the website and its materials are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, complete accuracy or that every resource will meet your needs.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, AP and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability, remedies or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify AP and its operator against third-party claims and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful use of the website or your infringement of another person’s rights through material you submit. This does not require you to indemnify AP for its own unlawful conduct.
Changes, governing law and other terms
We may update these terms when the website or its services change. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice where required by law. Changes apply prospectively to the extent required by applicable law.
Illinois law governs these terms, with disputes heard in the appropriate state or federal court serving McHenry County, Illinois, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive it on another. These terms do not replace a separate written agreement for commissioned work or another service.
